Windows is not a very secure operating system. It can be hacked or get infected, compromising any sensitive data you may have, such as bank account information, passwords, important documents, photos or anything else you need/want to keep private. Secure My Files is a program that encrypts data using the AES-256b (Rijndael) algorithm which is very strong, making it practically impossible to decrypt your documents without the proper password (the password has to be complex though).
This software is very easy to use. The interface is incredibly simple and effective. All the tools have self-explanatory titles and comprehensive tooltips are offered for each of them, explaining exactly what they do.
After a file is encrypted, it is deleted. If you wish, the program can even “shred” the file (delete it at a physical level, not just logical). The encryption process is extremely fast. It’s so fast that it actually feels like you’re just copying the file somewhere else on the drive.
The application features two additional tools: one that encrypts contents on a flash drive and another that locks entire folders with a password.
This is an amazing piece of software that seems to have absolutely no flaws. Even the price is right.
